About Lee
Lee Urbanovsky serves as the Mayor of Buda, Texas, bringing a steady hand and a deep commitment to preserving the small-town charm and quality of life that define this fast-growing Central Texas community. A longtime Buda resident, Mayor Urbanovsky was elected to City Council in 2016 and has served as Mayor since 2020.
With a background in business, development and construction and a passion for public service, Mayor Urbanovsky prioritizes thoughtful/intentional growth, infrastructure investment, public safety, and community engagement. Under his leadership, Buda has made significant strides in expanding parks and trails, enhancing downtown development, and improving mobility while maintaining fiscal responsibility and transparency.
Known for his collaborative approach, Mayor Urbanovsky works closely with residents, local businesses, and regional partners to ensure Buda remains a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking city. He is also an advocate for civic participation and regularly attends local events and town halls to stay connected with the people he serves.
When he’s not at City Hall, Mayor Urbanovsky enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering in the community he’s proud to call home.
